Amoah was the hero for the game as his last-gasp goal proved the match-winner between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi in game week 13 of the league.
Speaking in his first interview with the club’s media team, Poku extolled praise on the former Great Olympics forward.
“So far, Albert Amoah has impressed me because he’s the one who has been scoring goals to get the team the results. They are all doing well but Albert is my choice because he’s the one who gets the team the results with his goals,” he said.
“Albert has all the qualities to be at the top level. If you look at his runs, his composure in front of goal, and his goal-scoring ability, you can tell he’s a talent to watch and I’m not surprised he’s the one leading the team right now. He has a lot to offer this club.”
