Chelsea have finally reached an agreement to land long-term defensive target Kalidou Koulibaly after many years of trying for the Napoli defender.
Koulibaly has been a key player in the Naples defence for eight years now and during that long-term stay in southern Italy, there have been several attempts by the English side for his signature
The African Cup of Nations winner has been highly priced by Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis
However, with one year left on the Center-Back’s contract, it seems as though it is time for his current club to cash in on a player who hasn’t looked like signing a new deal for a while now.
Chelsea have a Full agreement in place for €40m fee add-ons completed, bid accepted. Napoli are checking the documents then it will be official.
Koulibaly will sign a long-term deal for €10m net salary per season.
