
Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah that the club is currently investigating an attack on the players before their MTN FA Cup defeat against Berekum Chelsea.
The club’s Head Coach Mariano Barreto revealed that the players received several verbal abuse before their game on Sunday at the Len Clay Stadium.

”People who are supposed to be Kotoko supporters came to where we were having our lunch to insult our players, so most of the players played today because we told them to play,” Barreto said in his post-match speech.
”I have told the management to investigate and punish those supporters who did that.”
Talking to Oyerepa FM on Monday morning, Nana Yaw Amponsah confirms that the club are currently investigating the incident.
