Asante Kotoko are inches away from sealing a mega deal for Bechem defender Samuel Osei Kuffour.
The towering defender who has been a standout performer for his club this season is said to have been closely monitored by the scouting team of Kotoko, who recommended his signing to head coach, Prosper Ogun Narteh and his technical team.
The 20-year-old has been an integral fixture for his native local side, having scored a goal in 28 games and part of a backline 2nd joint best side to have conceded just 23 goals in 33 games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League 2021/22 season.
If this deal materializes, the Porcupine Warriors will view his addition as a massive coup to a side that already boasts of Abdul Ganiu, Sheriff Mohammad, Yussif Mubarik, Appau Andrews, and Maxwell Agyemang, as they head to Africa next season following their 25th record triumph of the league title.
