Asante Kotoko has re-appointed Prosper Narteh as head coach of the club for the upcoming season 2023/24 according to Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio.
Ogum Narteh surprisingly resigned in July 2022 after leading the club to its 24-league triumph in the Ghana Premier League.

He was replaced by Burkinabe trainer, Seydou Zerbo, who was let go, and subsequently, assistant coach, Abdul Gazale.
The reason for his resignation ranged from a host of issues but importantly centered on disagreement over player recruitment with the management and the board.
During his time with the Porcupine Warriors, he picked up 67 points from 34 games as they pipped Medeama SC to the title in his second season with the club.
