
Asante Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong (Nana Pooley) has been finally laid to rest.
Nana Pooley met his untimely death at Nsoatre in game week nineteen between of the Ghana Premier League between Nsoatreman and Kotoko.
The passionate football enthusiast who had gone to support the Porcupine Warriors is alleged to have been stabbed by one Brimah, who is still on the run according to the Ghana Police Service.
The solemn event held saw scores of the bereaved family, friends, football administrators, and supporters, sympathizers and other well meaning Ghanaians thronged the Heroes Park, Baba Yara Stadium to bid farewell to their beloved one.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, Executive Council members, Regional Football Association Chairmen, and club officials made it to commiserate with the bereaved family.

The Ghana Police Service have constantly updated Ghanaians on the state of investigations relating to the death of the Kotoko supporter.
Meanwhile, Kotoko will resume football activities as promised after the final funeral rites of their supporter.
They will play Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium
