Kotoko confirm Samba Gilbani capture

Ghana Premier League club, Asante Kotoko has confirmed the signing of Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil.

 



The 23-year-old arrived in Ghana from Congo in the early hours of Thursday, July 11, 2024, and has finalized his medicals successfully.

The former captain of Rahimo FC inked a two-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.

Speaking in his very first interview following his move to Kotoko, he expressed immense excitement at sealing the move.

“Kotoko is a big club and I’m thrilled to be here,” he remarked. “When my manager informed me of Kotoko’s interest, I immediately instructed him to halt any discussions with other clubs so I could focus on coming here.”

“I am committed to proving my quality on the pitch and helping the team win the league,” Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil emphasized in his first interview.

Samba made 34 appearances across all competitions for the Burkinabe side, contributing four assists and scoring two goals.

The Kumasi-based club has added the Congolese player to other players, Emmanuel Antwi, Esmat Hassabalbagi, and Yoouef Yagoub who have been recruited into the ranks of the Red family.
