Asante Kotoko and Kariobangi sharks faced off in the Kasarani Stadium in Kenya where they played the first leg of their Confederation Cup game.

Kariobangi dominated the game in the first half and had many opportunities to score but Kotoko were solid at the back and made sure the prevented the ball from hitting the net.
Kariobangi had the best chance to score in the game but Agyeman Badu made a goal line clearance to deny them from scoring.
Naby Keita came close to scoring for Kotoko but his header was too high as it flew over the post.
Emmanuel Gyamfi hand the last opportunity to open the scoring for Kotoko but his effort missed the goal post.
Asante Kotoko will host Kariobangi Sharks next Saturday for the return leg in Kumasi.
