Joseph Paintsil scores match winner to send Genk through to Belgian Cup quarter-final
Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil was once again on target for KRC Genk to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Belgian Cup.

Paintsil has been in great form for Genk this season having scored 8 goals in 16 appearances in all competitions and providing 6 assists in the process.
He was left out of Otto Addo’s World Cup squad and was a huge topic in the Ghana football prior to the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Paintsil got the match-winner for Genk as they beat rivals RSC Anderlecht 1-0 after extra time at the Cegeka Arena in a Round of 16 fixture.
Paintsil was at the receiving end of a pass inside the box to break the deadlock for Genk.
Paintsil’s 95th-minute strike was enough to send Genk through to the next round of the Belgian Cup.
