Jordan Ayew provides assist in Crystal Palace’s victory over Newcastle United
Jordan Ayew provided his seventh assist of the season as Crystal Palace eased to a 2-0 win over Newcastle United at Selhurst Park.
The Ghanaian forward set up Jean-Philippe Mateta for the opening goal with a clever one-two pass, with Mateta scoring ten minutes into the second half.

Ayew returned to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in the 5-2 win against West Ham, forming a strong partnership with Mateta upfront for Palace.
The 32-year-old put in a solid performance, contributing both offensively and defensively to help Palace secure all three points at home.
Mateta sealed Palace’s victory with a goal in the final minutes, converting a pass from Will Hughes.
