Jamaica Senior Men National Team are considering calling up US-born Jamaican national Jabari Garibaldi for the 2014 World Cup Qualification matches, but the Orlando City central full back couldn’t make a decision about the country he wants to represent at the international level.
It seems that after meetings, the 22-year-old has finally made up his mind after watching closely both countries (US and Jamaica) and is ready to represent the Jamaica National Team (Reggae Boyz).
The Jamaica men’s national team will play two World cup qualifiers matches in June this year and it has been reported that Jabari will be joining the camp after approval from the Jamaica National team coach Theodore Whitmore.
Jabari has played for both countries (USA and Jamaica) at the youth level and hopes to make his official debut with the Reggae Boyz in June.
Jabari had a breakout year after earning his place in the Orlando City main team from the Team B and already made his US Open Cup debut.
Jabari was born in Miami, the United States of America but eligible to represent Jamaica due to his parents origin or roots.
