Sports Minister Kofi Adams has diffused the notion that the BlackStars would have to motivated financially in order for them to perform in their upcoming double World Cup qualifiers.
The BlackStars is billed to play against Chad on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium in a bid to cushion their position in Group I.
Speaking to reporters after the team’s training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, Mr. Adams opined that, they (Sports Ministry) have put a number of things in place to get the players to play above their weight levels for the country.
“It’s not about money if its about money many of them are earning more than what we can give them. What they want are good pitch in order to play on. The lightening system is something we are working on.
We are making sure they have the technical department to able to support the analysis of the opponents.
We have also created the right environment in place for them to perform well”. He ended.
Otto Addo and his technical team have supervised twenty-three players who have trained for three consecutive days in anticipation of Friday’s duel.

The BlackStars will hope to beat Chad to better their position on the log in a group that has Mali, Madagascar, Comoros and others.
