Ghana’s Inaki Williams has earned La Liga Player of the Month nomination for the Month of April
The forward played a vital role in his team’s success in April, scoring four goals and helping them win three out of four matches, which kept their hopes of qualifying for Europe alive.
Despite being eliminated from the Copa del Rey semi-finals, Williams scored against Osasuna and then scored a crucial goal against Espanyol in La Liga.

He followed this up with two goals against Real Sociedad, which helped his team win back-to-back games after drawing their previous three matches.
Williams faces stiff competition from six other players, including Marco Asensio, Ronald Araujo, Antoine Griezmann, Kang-In Lee, El-Neysiri, and Selim Amallah, to win the award.
In the current La Liga season, Williams has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 28 games. Athletic Bilbao, his team, is currently in seventh place with 46 points after playing 30 games in the league.
They will play against Sevilla on Thursday at Estadio San Mamés.
