Ibrahim Osman receives maiden Ghana call-up
Ibrahim Osman has earned his first call-up to the Ghana national team for the upcoming friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda next week.
The 19-year-old rising star is among the new faces selected by Ghana coach Otto Addo for the two friendly games scheduled to be held in Morocco.
Having emerged from the renowned Right to Dream Academy, Osman’s impressive performances and exceptional skills have earned him a move to English Premier League side Brighton.

The winger will officially join Brighton in the summer, following a deal between the club and Danish side FC Nordsjaelland reportedly worth around £16 million.
Osman will reunite with former teammates Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah in the Ghana national team, where he is expected to compete for a spot in the squad.
The Black Stars are set to face Nigeria, the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations finalist, on March 22, followed by a match against Uganda four days later.
These matches will be the senior national team’s first games since their disappointing campaign in the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, which ultimately led to the dismissal of Chris Hughton as the Black Stars’ coach.
