
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has strongly suggested he won’t quit his role as headcoach following the team’s poor showing in the just ended 2025 AFCON qualification campaign.
The team lost their last group game against Niger by 1-2 much to the disappointment of many Ghanaian football fans.

During hisr post-match interview there were calls for his resignation but Otto quickly shot that stance,“I’m not a person who can resign. If I had done this, I would never have become a player or even a coach.”

This will be the first timein two-decades that the BlackStars have failed to qualify to the AFCON tournamnet.
