I rejected PSG move to stay at Hearts – Prince Tagoe advice to Afriyie Barnieh

Former Hearts of Oak striker Prince Tagoe has advised hotshot, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh not to rush a move from Hearts of Oak. 



The former goal king of the Ghana Premier League was using his playing days as an example to advise the young lad, who seems to have gained some notable prominence that he once turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain to stay at the club.

In the last few weeks, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been reluctant to pen down a deal with Hearts of Oak with the idea of securing move away from the club with clubs in Sweden,Belgium, Denmark and France said to be closely monitoring his situation. 

Speaking to Angel FM, the former goal king advised the young lad not to rush into force as his contact winds down in the coming weeks.



“I rejected an offer from PSG in 2006 to complete a season at Hearts of Oak and I was the top scorer,” he added.

“I moved to Saudi Arabia for €2m the following year and had good offers from Europe. Afriyie Barnieh shouldn’t rush to leave Hearts of Oak.” he ended. 

Barnieh has enjoyed a silky smooth few seasons, aiding Hearts to win the Ghana Premier League and two FA Cup titles.

His recent performance in the local league helped him feature for the Black Satellites, Black Galaxies and most recently was part of the 26-man sqaud put out by former coach Otto Addo for the FIFA World Cup.
