Henry Addo celebrates Israeli title win with Maccabi Tel-Aviv
Ghanaian teenager Henry Addo celebrated his first season achievement as Maccabi Tel-Aviv clinched the Israeli Premier League title.
The young forward watched his team secure a decisive 3-0 victory over rivals Hapoel Beer Sheva, creating an unassailable eight-point lead with only two matches left in the season.

Addo joined Maccabi Tel-Aviv from Slovakia’s MSK Zilina in February 2024, signing a 3.5-year contract.
Despite coming from Zilina’s successful African youth academy, he has had limited opportunities, making just one appearance without any offensive contributions.
However, Addo’s limited playing time didn’t dampen his enthusiasm for the team’s remarkable achievements. Maccabi dominated the domestic league, winning 24 games, drawing seven, and losing only three out of 34 matches.
With this impressive season behind them, Maccabi Tel-Aviv is now preparing for their entry into the UEFA Champions League.
