Hearts of Oak stage remarkable comeback to secure victory against Hearts of Lions.
With ten players, Hearts of Oak executed an impressive comeback to defeat newcomers Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League on Monday night.
The Phobians extended their unbeaten streak to eight games by overcoming a 1-0 deficit to claim a 2-1 victory at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Hearts coach Aboubakar Ouattara made two changes to the squad that drew 2-2 with Dreams FC last Thursday, bringing David Oppong Afrane back into the starting lineup.

Heart of Lions took the lead just before halftime, with Mustapha Yakubu scoring from a free-kick.
However, Hearts quickly responded in the second half when Salim Adams headed in a free-kick delivered by Martin Karikari in the 49th minute.
Hearts’ left-back Dennis Nkrumah Korsah was then shown a straight red card a few minutes later, reducing the team to ten men.
Despite this setback, Hearts completed their comeback as Congolese midfielder Linda Mtange capitalized on a rebound from Adams’ long-range shot in the 64th minute.
Under Ouattara’s leadership, Hearts of Oak has enjoyed a positive start, securing three wins and two draws in his first five games in charge.
