Hearts were coming from back-to-back wins against Bibiani GoldStars and Kotoku Royals.
Coming into the game, the never say die boys were expected to beat Karela United and move into the top four ahead of the World Cup.

This was not the case as Karela managed to earn a point back to the western region.
Hearts coach Slavko Matic, is yet to lose a match in charge having won his previous two matches.
The game was a keenly contested one as both teams created many chances but failed to find the back of the net.
Hearts of Oak following the draw have dropped to 10th while Karela United are sixth on the table before the World Cup break.
