Hearts of Oak coach, Martin Koopman says he is pleased with the win over Nsoatreman.
The only goal of the match was scored by Congolese striker Ramos Kashala in the fourth minute, securing the Phobians’ first win of the season.
Initially, Wanet’s header hit the post, but it rebounded kindly to him, allowing him to score and give Hearts of Oak the lead.

Koopman attributed their success to their hard work during training and believed that his players deserved the three points.
Speaking to StarTimes, he said: “It’s always a great feeling to win, but I believe we earned it.”
“Throughout the week, we put in a lot of effort because everyone was disappointed. We worked diligently, and I believe this young team deserved their first victory.”
” I think we rightfully earned the three points. So, I’m extremely pleased,” Koopman added.
This is Hearts of Oak’s first win of the season after losing to RTU in Tamale on match day one of the new GPL season.
