Hearts of Oak captain Benjamin Asare rallies for fans support ahead of Young Apostles game

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare has called for fans’ support as they take on Young Apostle at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The Ghana Premier League was suspended following the unfortunate passing of Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong (Nana Pooley), who met his untimely demise at Nsoatre.

It’s been over four weeks since Hearts of Oak kicked a ball in the Ghana Premier League but they will be looking to make amends after their FA Cup exit at the hands of Golden Kicks a fortnight ago.

Speaking ahead of the game, Asare called for fans to come in their numbers to support the club this weekend.

“We are here because of them, so if something goes wrong in the course of the game, we are asking them to be patient because in the game things can take a different route to what you have envisioned”

“We will ask them to criticize as constructively because that helps us model our game better” he ended.

He however assured fans of a victory against Young Apostles.
