Hearts of Oak adopt University of Ghana Stadium for home games.

Hearts of Oak has announced that the University of Ghana Stadium will be their home venue in the interim for the 2024/2055 Ghana Premier League.

This follows the National Sports Authority’s directive to close three of the country’s stadiums for renovation works.

Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the only venue for continental games, was banned from hosting BlackStars home games this weekend.

The Accra-based club has long used the Accra Sports Stadium as their home venue for games in the Premier League, Cup matches, and other continental games.

They will hope to redeem themselves after they lost their opening two games in the league as they welcome Bechem United.
