Hearts of Oak coach, Martin Koopman is pleased with how fans of the club exercised immense patience during the turbulent period in the 2023/2024 ongoing league.
Since the start of this season, the former champions had endured a very difficult spell with just a win in seven games.
This bad patch of form prompted widespread pressure on coach Koopman and his charges who were faced with a herculean task against the current holders of the league, Medeama SC in game week eight of the league.

Two goals from Hamza Issah and an own goal from Appiah Kubi through an Ibrahim Salifu corner ensured that the Rainbow Club ran out victors on the day.

Speaking to the club’s in-house media team, the Dutch trainer acknowledged the patience and support of the fans during the club’s bad run-off form.
“Now the fans realize that what have been doing in the training session is the outcome. Thank you very much for your patience and this is how we pay back ” he said.
Similarly, defender, Kevon Osei-Asibey, who was named man of the match rallied for support from the fans on the back of their momentous win over Medeama.

This win has propelled Hearts of Oak to the 13th position in the league as they travel away to face Karela United in their next league match this weekend.
