Accra Hearts of Oak are one of the numerous Ghana Premier League outfits making the most of the ongoing transfer window, several reports making headway in the local space suggest that a deal to sign one of their former stalwart defenders in Nuru Sulley is on the cards.




The combative defender is expected to finalize paperwork in the coming days after he successfully agreed to negotiations and medicals in order to partake in the second round of the 2019/20 season.

The 27-year-old ‘s contract with Lebanese side Naft Al-Junoob was recently abrogated.

He has had several stints playing abroad for clubs like Al-Nasr Benghazi, Tala’ea El Gaish, Al-Ittihad, Alanyaspor, and Al-Mina.

Sulley left the shores of Accra for greener pastures abroad in 2014 after spending three-years with the Phobin fraternity.

Accra Hearts of Oak are looking to properly challenge for the league after a decade of losing out, having signed the likes of Isaac Mensah, Danjuma Kuti, Abednego Tetteh, and Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali into their ranks.

The Ghana Premier League is currently suspended amidst a Presidential directive to institute measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 which is decimating lives all over the country and the entire globe.
