Hearts of Oak suffer defeat against Nigerien club Sahel SC in friendly game
Hearts of Oak were beaten 1-2 by Nigerien club Sahel SC in an international friendly game on Friday morning at the Phobiman Park.
Ghanaian player Bright Korley opened the scoring for Nigerien side in the scoring in the 25th minute to put his side in front.
The first half ended with the away team leading and this prompted Hearts of Oak boss Kim Grant to make two changes at end of the first 45 minutes; Kojo Bonney and Obeng Jnr on for Robert Addo and Charles McCarthy respectively.
Substitute Obeng Jnr equalized for the Phobians just five minutes after coming on with a great shot from inside the penalty area.
Moucthar Yacouba scored the winning goal for Sahel SC through a remarkable free-kick from the left area to give his side the win.
Sahel SC have been in Ghana for a month now for their preseason tour.
