Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman has dismissed suggestions that he is worried about his side’s poor start to the 2023-2024 Betpawa Premier League season.
The former champions of the league have not enjoyed the best of starts to the league, losing two games against Real Tamale United and Bofoakwa Tano.

The Phobians have managed to cop four points from twelve which has drawn loads of murmurings from a section of the fans.
Speaking in a post-game interview, the Dutch trainer opined that he isn’t worried about the team’s run of form but maintained a positive outlook for the next games coming up.
“I am very proud of my team. No, I am not worried. I am not worried. This is football and if you see the young team we have and what happened in preseason, we did a very good job…we missed a striker.”

They currently sit 15th on the log with four points with their last game ending in a draw against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium and their next game against rivals, Kpando Hearts of Lions at the WAFA Arena, Sogakope.
