Hearts circle around Hafiz Konkoni
Accra Hearts of Oak have set sights on recruiting talented player Hafiz Konkoni into their ranks following the departures of the strike duo, Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi according to circulating media reports.
The duo left the club on different reasons, while Joseph Esso failed to reach an agreement with the capital-based club after months of negotiations leading to his departure, Kofi Kordzi on the other end has earned a move to Muaither SC, Qatar.
With the club signing Abednego Tetteh, Danjuma Kuti as replacement, it appears the rainbow club have intensified efforts to sign Bechem United’s Hafiz Konkoni ahead of the new season which is almost a month away from kickoff.
Konkoni netted 10 goals in 26 matches for Bechem.
Accra Hearts of Oak are in search of a major silverware for a decade with the club support base consistently breeding on the necks of club’s hierarchy.
