Gyamfi not available for Al-Hilal game – CK Akonnor
Asante Kotoko boss CK Akonnor has revealed that Emmanuel Gyamfi won’t be available for Kotoko’s clash with Al-Hilal on Sunday in Kumasi.
Emmanuel Gyamfi came out injured after scoring in Asante Kotoko’s 3-0 victory against Nkana FC on Sunday, the winger was replaced by Kwame Boahene.
CK Akonnor stated that the winger won’t feature in their next game against Al-Hilal, he added that he is yet to know the full extent of the injury.
“I will get the report [on Emmanuel Gyamfi’s injury] from the medical team tomorrow…But it doesn’t look good” Coach Akonnor told OTEC FM
“He will not be available for Al Hilal. I have other players to replace him in our next game against the Sudanese side”
Gyamfi has been impressive for his club, the 22-year-old has scored three goals in eight appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup for Asante Kotoko.
