Accra Hearts of Oak secured their first league triumph in over twelve years and their 21st league title despite losing to WAFA SC in the ultimate round of games at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena.
AshGold made the most of their superiority as they trounced already-relegated side Inter Allies by seven goals at Obuasi Ley Clay Stadium to cement their position on the log.

Elmina Sharks did a double over Kotoko to guarantee their status in the league for a further season with King Faisal, Legon Cities while after twenty- two years in the league, Dansoman based Liberty Professionals together with Inter Allies and Ebusua Dwarfs failed to beat the drop zone as they were relegated.
