GPL Week Sixteen Review : Samartex, Nsoatreman, Kotoko win as Hearts stutter in Ga Mashie derby

A late penalty from Steve Mukwala was enough to salvage a win for Kotoko at the expense of Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. 

Nsoatreman FC returned to winning ways to post a win over former Ghana Premier League winner, Aduana Stars after two consecutive losses taking them up to 3rd on the log.

Hearts of Oak’s dismal run of form continues in the league as they had to settle for a goalless draw game against bitter city rivals, Great Olympics in the Mantse derby which came off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium following the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium for non – sporting activities in December.

Meanwhile, Medeama SC put their setback in the CAF Champions behind them to pick a win over GoldStars in week sixteen of the league at Akoon Park.
