The week twenty-four of the Ghana Premier league will take center stage with some exciting duels on Saturday, March 15, to Monday, March 17, 2025.
I look at some of the tasty duels scheduled for game week 24.
Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC will shrug it off at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. The two teams will fancy all three points to assuage their accumulated points as at game twenty-three.

For the Phobians they occupy the 3rd spot with 36 points on the league log, a point shy of Kotoko and GoldStars. An enviable home stat of five wins from six games makes them confident in the lead up to this game. Their defensive resoluteness has seen, goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare earn a BlackStars call-up in World Cup qualifying games against Chad and Madagascar.
The tale of Dreams FC has been rocked with inconsistencies. As things stand, they have managed just two wins from five games which hasn’t aided their league status.
In 10 games away from home they have picked a paltry 8 points, scored three and conceded nine which will present an arduous task in breaking a team that has only conceded 4 in 10 games at home.

The pair have always given the neutrals a lot to thinker about but importantly their respective fans will be eyeing a win to earn the bragging rights at the end of match proceedings.
Match Predictions: Hearst of Oak 2-1 Dreams FC
The defending champions, Samartex have found this season tougher than they would have anticipated. They occupy the 9th spot with 27 points in the ongoing league.
This week they host Kotoko in one of the highly anticipated games in the league. They are unbeaten in their last five games (2W 3D), a stat they would want to better this weekend at Samreboi.

Meanwhile, the Porcupine Warriors have racked as many as 12 points from 9 games which makes them tough customers playing away from home.
They sit at the apex of the league with 37 points from 20 league games. They are the highest scoring side in the league with 23 goals. Kwame Opoku and Albert Amoah have contributed to half of the club’s goals.
This game holds a lot of significance for both teams. Since, 2022 games between the pair have always been to the advantage of the Reds, winning four from five games.
Predictions: Samartex 1-1 Kotoko

The home side have registered two wins, losses and a draw from five home games. They are 13th on log with 22 points.
Meanwhile, GoldStars’ season has been nothing but stupendous under coach Frimpong Manso. He has taken the side a notch higher from their former seasons.
They look an exciting and compact side with the brilliance of young Emmanuel Kobi in between the sticks. The young man has kept 12 clean sheets from 20 appearances for the title- chasing side. Hopefully, the Black Stars handlers give him a look in someday.

The miners have picked 11 points from 10 games playing away from home.
On the other hand, the Ogya boys will be heavily reliant on the two wins they have bagged from three games they have played the miners at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.
Predictions: Aduana Stars 2-0 GoldStars
Nations FC are not far off from the top. They are just five points off the table toppers, Kotoko. They will weigh in on their chances as they play Medeama SC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports complex in Abrankese.

Having lost three in their last five games will bear heavy on their shoulders but i expect coach Kassim Mingle to reposition his side as they come up against a former league champion.
Meanwhile, the appointment of coach Tanko seems to have sparked a new lease of life to the setup. They have picked two wins in two games against Bechem United and Legon Cities respectively.
Their superiority over their weekend opponents dates back to 2023 as they have recorded two wins and a draw in the head-to head games.
Predictions : Nations FC 2-1 Medeama SC
