GPL Week Eleven Review : Kotoko, Karela, RTU bag wins as Great Olympics draw at home

A second-half penalty from Mohammed Sherrif was enough to spare, Kotoko’s blushes against defending champions, Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. 

The two representatives of the Northern Region, Karela United and Real Tamale United recorded tasty wins this weekend over Aduana Stars and Dreams FC in game week eleven of the Ghana Premier League.

Elsewhere at the Sunyani Coronation Park, what ended a barren draw and a point each for Bofoakwa Tano and Nsoatreman FC turned out to be a bloody affair as coach of the visiting team, Maxwell Konadu, and other match officials were beaten to palp by angry fans of the host.

Hopefully, the GFA and relevant stakeholders deal with this recurring conundrum of match violence in the league once and for all.
