The return of the Ghana Premier League across varied match venues in the country witnessed some interesting results with Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Medeama SC ensuring they returned with a bang.
The league was put on hold for over a month following the death of Kotoko supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong at Nsoatre in a league game against Nsoatreman FC.
Dreams FC continued to struggle as they found it difficult to break former league champions Aduana Stars at the Tuba AstroTurf.
Vision FC drew 1-1 with Hearts of Lions.
