GPL Week 1 Preview: Medeama vs Great Olympics
Tarkwa based Medeama will begin their Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season opener against Great Olympics in Tarkwa on Sunday.
The Mauve and Yellow side have on two occasions gone close to ending their log wait for a Premier League title.
This season with the massive injection of a whopping $300,000 sponsorship package into the side by Gold Fields West Africa, it will go a long way to augment the side to properly challenge for honors this season.
It came as little surprise when the club signed six new players (Kwadwo Asamoah, Patrick Yeboah, Frank Boateng, Musah Baba Abdulai, Abdul Basit Adam, Abass Mohammed) to augment the squad ahead of the new campaign.
