GPL: Reason why Ebusua Dwarfs-Legon Cities game was abandoned
The game between Ebusua Dwarfs and Legon Cities in Cape Coast was abandoned on Sunday afternoon after the match officials refused to return to the pitch for the second half.
Legon Cities official Twitter handle tweeted and stated that the referee’s failure to report to the pitch in the second half was due to threats he received from the home fans as the referee didn’t “feel safe to continue”.
