GPL Matchweek 27 Review: Hearts, Kotoko, Ashantigold all win

Kotoko made amends for their back-to-back losses in the league as they picked up 3 points at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena for the first time in the club’s history against WAFA SC through a Frank Mbella goal, his 18th of the season.



Hearts of Oak on the other hand made it two wins from two in their bid to close the gap at the summit of the table which is now 12 points adrift of their bitter rivals, Kotoko.

In other games, AshGold were big winners on the day as they thrashed a helpless Berekum Chelsea for 5 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium, Yaw Annor with 4 goals on the day, King Faisal managed a 2-2 draw with second-placed side, Bechem United.
