GPL Match Preview and Prediction: Elmina Sharks out to bite Inter Allies
Yaw Acheampong’s Elmina Sharks will have a wounded traveling Inter Allies side to deal in round six of the Ghana Premier League this weekend at the Ndoum Sports Stadium.
The Elmina-based Sharks have continued to improve on last season’s performance which sees them occupy the 7th spot with 6 points after five rounds of games in the ongoing league.
The away side have to wary of the attacking prowess of duo Richard Mpong and Tweneboah Benjamin, who have four goals between them so far this season something that pleases the home coach.
The Capelli outfit have been largely unimpressive, a lot would be attributed to the loss of predatory striker, Vicrorien Adebayor, who left the shores of the country to seek greener pastures in Denmark, they haven’t been able to replace him as yet(goals and assists).
Inter Allies would have to improve on their 16th placed position if they don’t want to exit the league this season with matches coming thick and fast.
The home side holds the ace with two victories whiles Inter Allies are yet to pick a victory against them it may look as though their disastrous record against the Sharks may continue for a while.
