GPL 2024/25: Samartex edge out Nsoatreman

Defending champions, Samartex secured a home victory over Nsoatreman in week six of the Ghana Premier League.

 



The host has gone on a three-match winless run, which unsettled the team in the lead-up to the game against the MTN FA Cup Champions on the rescheduled game which was set for Sunday but took place on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

Akwesi Sarpong slotted his side into the lead in the first minute of the game.  

Felix Koduah cushioned his side’s lead in the 11th minute to unsettle the opposing side.

The win scales Samartex to fourth place while Nsoatreman stays at 11th on the log.

The Timber boys will play Kotoko next while Nsoatreman FC will be at home to debutants, HolyStars.
