GPL Match Week 8: Medeama, Ashgold, Legon Cities bag victories as Aduana, Karela fall
Legon Cities defied a spirited WAFA side when the pair clashed in week eight of the ongoing Ghana Premier League to pick up their very first victory of the season through an expertly converted Joseph Adjei penalty on Friday night at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Tarkwa based Medeama SC ensured their home dominance counted when they pulled clear off rivals Aduana Stars by 2-1 at the Akoon Park on Saturday in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
In other games, Eleven Wonders, Berekum Chelsea, AshGold, Dreams bagged victories over Karela United, Inter Allies, Great Olympics, and Ebusua Dwarfs to compliment their positions on the title log whiles Bechem United surrendered a first-half lead to draw against King Faisal heading into week nine of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak failed to continue with their fine form as they shared points with Elmina Sharks away from home.
