GHPL WK5: Berekum Chelsea stun Ashgold in Obuasi
Berekum Chelsea secured a massive result against Ashantigold on Saturday in Obuasi to move to the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
Berekum Chelsea continue their fine start to the season by securing all three points against The Miners in their own backyard in Match Week 5 of the Ghana Premier League.
Kofi Owusu took advantage of Ashgold goalkeeper Boateng’s error to score the only goal of the game to give his side all three points.
Ashantigold did all they could but couldn’t break the Berekum Chelsea defence that is yet to allow a goal in this season.
The win takes Berekum Chelsea to the top of the league with 13 points, while Ashantigold fall down to 3rd position after Match Week 5.
