Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Essiam makes FC Basel debut.
Essiam was brought on late in the Swiss Cup clash against Grasshoppers to make his debut.
Basel won 5-3 came out victorious at the Letzigrund with Essiam making his debut.
The young midfielder could not hide his excitement after the game and posted:
“I’m very happy to make my debut today after a very long time with a great victory, thanks to all the fans for your amazing support always,”
Essiam joined FC Basel last year fter winning the U20 AFCON but spent most of his time with the youth team.

Meanwhile Ghana’s Kassim Adams was on target for Basel in the 63rd minute as he helped Basel seal victory.
Essam is hoping to get more minutes with the first team after making his debut last night.
