Ghanaian clubs start preparations ahead of new season
Ghana President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo finally gave the go-ahead for the resumption of all contact sports, football activities to resume from October 30, 2020, with strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocols.
This new development has been greeted with lots of excitement within the rank and file of persons within the football quarters and beyond.
Ghanaian clubs have started feverish preparations in order to stay competitive when the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League kicks off, November 13, 2020.
Some clubs like Accra Hearts of Oak, King Faisal, Dreams FC, and Kotoko are back to the turf even though per new directives from the government, players, officials, and staff must be tested for the coronavirus prior to the league.
Bechem United have done the needful by testing their players, it remains to be seen if other clubs will assemble their playing body, technical team and follow suit.
