Ghana Premier League: Inter Allies beat King Faisal in six-goal thriller
It rained goals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday afternoon as Inter Allies registered a 4-2 win against King Faisal in the Match Week six fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
Victorien Adebayor opened the scoring for the home side with a brilliant finish just a few seconds into the game.
Samuel Armah scored the second goal for Inter Allies with an incredible solo effort in the 38th minute of the game.
King Faisal struggled to get back into the game in the first half but found themselves two goals down at halftime.
Osman Ibrahim grabbed one goal back for King Faisal with a beautiful finish in the 55th minute of the game. Mohammed Mustapha scored again for King Faisal four minutes later to restore parity.
King Faisal fell back to prevent Inter Allies from scoring but failed to do so as Samuel Armah restored the lead for the home side in the 85th minute of the game.
Substitute Michael Gyamerah sealed the win with a debut goal after rounding the goalkeeper to score the fourth goal for Inter Allies.
The win moves Inter Allies to 14th on the league table while King Faisal remain in the relegation zone after failing to secure their first win of the season.
