Ghana Football Association to introduce electronic ticketing
GFA President Kurt Okraku reveals his outfit is studying five proposals on electronic ticketing system that will allow fans to purchase tickets online very soon in the season.
Mr. Okraku made this pronouncement during the first edition of the GFA meet the press series earlier today at the Conference Room of Exim Bank in Accra.
“Yesterday we saw a great atmosphere at the Accra Sports Stadium and I must say we have five proposals for electronic ticketing for our games. We shall consider these.” he said.
If any of the proposals is approved, fans can purchase match tickets online without going to the stadium using visa cards, master cards and also through mobile money.
The GFA is doing this to make it very convenient for fans to get match tickets even days before match day to avoid long queueing and stressing at the stadium.
