The Ghana Football Association announced that the Ghana Black Stars team will play a friendly game at the Baba Yara Stadium before traveling to Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON.
Ghana were scheduled to play a friendly game against Botswana in Johannesburg early next month but the game was canceled after Ghana changed their pre-tournament camp location to Kumasi.
The friendly game will be open to the media and fans.
Ghana is paired in Group B alongside giants Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, before taking on record holders Egypt on January 18 and play Mozambique on January 22 in the other Group B game.
