The Black Queens of Ghana secured a 4-1 victory on Sunday when they faced Togo women team in a friendly game at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.
A brace from Gladys Amfobea and Evelyn Badu did the magic as the Black Queens registered a commanding victory.
Amfobea opened the scoring in the 29th minute before adding her second goal 8th minutes later through a penalty kick. The first half ended 2-0.
Hasaacas Ladies midfielder Evelyn Badu scored seven minutes into the second half to stretch the lead for her side.
Togo grabbed one goal in the 87th minute through Adinda Akpo before Evelyn Badu completed her brace with a 90th-minute strike to seal the victory for the Black Queens.
The game serves a preparatory game for the Black Queens as they will face Kenya in the third round of the African qualifiers to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games women’s football tournament.
