Ghana Black Galaxies beat Egypt U20 in friendly game

The Black Galaxies earned their first win in an international friendly duel over Egypt U-20 at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.



The Ghanaian side departed the shores of the country to begin preparations ahead of the CHAN tournament slated for Algeria and as part of preparations, the side will embark on some friendly games. 

Legon Cities forward Kofi Kordzi broke the deadlock in the 15th minute of the game to help the Galaxies to head into the break with a 1-0 lead.

The second half will see Dreams FC player, Sylvester Simba add the second on the 57th-minute mark to double the lead in a game that was played behind closed doors.



Coach Annor Walker ringed several changes to the side, which saw Razak Kassim, Benjamin Abaidoo, Augustine Boakye, Jonah Atuuquaye, and Kwame Otu getting some minutes in the tank in place off, Gladson Awako, Augustine Randolph, Dennis Korsah, Sylvester Simba and Kofi Kordzi.

The Black Galaxies will play an unnamed side in the Egyptian Premier League in the coming days as they continue preparations for the CHAN tournament.
