GFA set to introduce its inaugural U-15 Girls Inter-Regional Challenge Cup.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is preparing to launch its inaugural U-15 Girls Inter-Regional Challenge Cup, with the event scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2024, at the GFA headquarters.
Eugene Nobel Noel, a member of the GFA Executive Committee and Chairman of the organizing committee, led a meeting on April 16, 2024, to plan and refine activities for the tournament.

The competition will feature ten regions divided into three zones, competing in a round-robin format. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals, with the winners progressing to the finals.
Details about awards and tournament specifics will be announced during the launch event. The U-15 Challenge Cup is part of the GFA’s Women’s Football Strategy (2023-2026), focusing on talent identification and development.
The tournament provides a platform for scouting young talent in national academies, highlighting the GFA’s commitment to promoting women’s football at all levels.
Scheduled to take place at the Technical Training Centre in Prampram from June 22 to June 30, 2024, the tournament aims to unify and develop the women’s football community in Ghana, enhancing the competitiveness of national teams.
