GFA President Kurt Okraku cleared to run for CAF Exco

The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has been handed the nod to contest the Executive Council position of the Confederation of African Football (CAF)



The CAF Review Committee after a series of background checks and investigations issued a green light after Mr. Okraku passed the integrity and eligibility test.

According to the football governing body, the Ghanaian football administrator has met all the necessary ethical criteria in view of contesting for the portfolio.

Mr.Okraku in a Facebook post revealed the exciting news after he was passed by CAF to contest the upcoming elections. 

The CAF EXCO Elective Congress will take place in Cairo, Egypt, on March 12, 2025.
