The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has cut sod for the commencement of a 40-bed accommodation facility at the Ghanaian Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Present at the event earmarked to begin works on the facility were G.F.A President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, Veep Mark Addo, General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, Exco member, Fred Acheampong, former GFA Vice-Chairman Fred Pappoe, former General Secretary, Emmanuel Gyimah, other key personalities and the media.

The project would be heavily funded by the 2022 World Cup 2022 proceeds of BlackStar’s participation in the tournament.

The facility’s construction would help complement the country’s sports infrastructure deficit.
